Welcome!

The focus of the Brain Performance Lab is on using computerized cognitive training (CCT) to enhance brain function in order to ameliorate psychopathology and promote healthy brain function across the lifespan.

The lab is currently conducting several CCT studies. With our colleagues at Columbia University (Dr. Dev Devanand) and Duke University (Dr. Doraiswamy), we are investigating the impact of CCT on older adults with mild cognitive impairment using functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI).

Here at Queens College, we are in the beginning stages of a new study that will also use fMRI to determine the effects of CCT on mood, cognition, and brain function in depressed young adults.

Stay a while and explore the site. If you have any questions, are interested in applying to become a research assistant in the lab, or want to participate in one of our studies, please contact us.
